Roma and Inter Milan will reportedly maintain the same lineups when they cross paths at the Stadio Olimpico tomorrow.

Both clubs registered important wins last weekend, albeit for different reasons.

The Nerazzurri prevailed in the direct Scudetto showdown against Juventus to open a four-point gap on top of the Serie A table while also having an extra match in hand.

For their part, the Giallorrosi made it three wins in a row since the appointment of Daniele De Rossi. The Roma legend led his club towards a rooting 4-0 victory over Cagliari last weekend.

Therefore, it appears that both managers will confirm the same lineup, as Sky Sport Italia (via FcInter1908) reports.

Romelu Lukaku will spearhead the hosts’ lineup. He’ll be eager to score against his former teammates following last summer’s fallout.

Paulo Dybala and Stephan El-Shaarawy will join the Belgian up front in De Rossi’s 4-3-3 tactical system.

Roma captain Lorenzo Pellegrini will feature in the midfield three alongside Leandro Paredes and Bryan Cristante.

Chris Smalling will finally return to the squad following a long hiatus, but he should start on the bench. Instead, De Rossi will maintain the centre-back duo of Diego Llorente and Gianluca Mancini while Rick Karsdorp and Angelino take the fullback slots.

Roma & Inter Milan To Maintain Same Starting Lineups This Weekend

Simone Inzaghi will also keep his trust in the same starting XI. Benjamin Pavard, Francesco Acerbi and Alessandro Bastoni will form the back three once more.

Matteo Darmian should ward off the threat of Denzel Dumfries and lock himself a place on the right side. Federico Dimarco will operate on the opposite flank.

In the middle of the park, Hakan Calhagnolu will slot in between Nicolo Barella and Henrikh Mkhitaryan, while Lautaro Martinez and Marcus Thuram start up front.

Roma Probable XI (4-3-3): Rui Patricio; Karsdorp, Mancini, Llorente, Angelino; Cristante, Paredes, Pellegrini; Dybala, Lukaku, El Shaarawy
