Inter Milan are reportedly keeping tabs on Boca Juniors youngster Jabes Saralegui who could become the club’s latest Argentine signing.

The 20-year-old is a central midfielder who currently features for Boca’s second team, also known as Boca Juniors II.

The starlet can also feature in wide roles, either on the left or right flank.

According to Argentine journalist Elcrackdeportivo via Alfredopedulla.com, the Nerazzurri are showing strong interest in Saralegui.

The club will be hoping to make the young player the latest import from Argentina, following in the footsteps of current Inter vice-president Javier Zanetti and club captain Lautaro Martinez.

Nevertheless, the source believes that Boca don’t intend to part ways with the midfielder. The club considers him the eventual heir of star player Cristian Medina.

Therefore, it would require a lucrative offer to convince the Argentine giants to relinquish the services of the youngster.

The report suggests that Inter, or any other suitor for that matter, would have to splash around 15 million euros.

For his part, Italian journalist Alfredo Pedulla describes Saralegui as a midfielder of the European mold.

The 20-year-old has a wide range of skills and tends to move the ball swiftly. He can also make the difference when accelerating with the ball at his feet.

Pedulla also underlines the young man’s versatility as he can occupy various roles between the middle of the park and the flanks.

The journalist also expects the Argentine to make a major leap in quality this season and start featuring regularly with the first team.
