Davide Frattesi and Alexis Sanchez are among the main candidates to start in a rotated Inter Milan lineup against Lecce tomorrow.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews.

One thing that’s clear is that Inter coach Simone Inzaghi will be making some changes tomorrow.

In recent matches, the coach has not rotated much.

For example, there were only a few changes in the last four matches, against Juventus, Roma, and Salernitana in the league and then Atletico Madrid in the Champions League.

These were on the wings, where Denzel Dumfries and Carlos Augusto started against Salernitana, whilst Federico Dimarco and Matteo Darmian did so in the other matches.

And in defense, where Stefan de Vrij replaced Francesco Acerbi due to injury.

But in those matches, Inzaghi and Inter have had the luxury of rest time between matches. That won’t really be the case in the next couple fixtures.

Frattesi & Alexis Could Start For Inter Vs Lecce

Inter face Lecce tomorrow just five days after beating Atletico in the Champions League.

Then a Serie A clash with Atalanta follows just three days later.

So Inzaghi will have to think carefully about managing the minutes of his squad.

In midfield, the coach will ring in at least one or two changes. It looks relatively certain that former Frattesi will get what is a rare start for him in the league.

And Kristjan Asllani has a good chance of replacing Hakan Calhanoglu at the base of midfield.

Then, in attack the Gazzetta report that former Arsenal, Manchester United, and Barcelona veteran Sanchez is a strong candidate to start.

The Chilean could start alongside captain Lautaro Martinez.

On the other hand, Marko Arnautovic starting cannot be ruled out. The Austrian could partner either Sanchez or Martinez up front.
