Nicolo Barella, Alessandro Bastoni, and Benjamin Pavard will all be back in the Inter Milan starting eleven against Atalanta tomorrow.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInterNews.

Inter are playing once again in Serie A tomorrow with just a couple days to rest and prepare since their last match.

The Nerazzurri beat Lecce in Serie A on Sunday. They did so with a heavily-rotated team.

There were seven changed in total to the team that had beaten Atletico Madrid last week when Inter lined up at the Via del Mare.

But tomorrow evening against Atalanta, it will be much closer to a full-strength starting eleven.

There will be a few notable absentees due to injury.

Defender Francesco Acerbi will continue to be out. Therefore, Stefan de Vrij should get his fourth consecutive start in the centre of the back three.

Then, in midfield, Hakan Calhanoglu is out with a thigh problem. The Turk had also missed Sunday’s match against Lecce.

Kristjan Asllani will fill in for Calhanoglu once again, therefore.

And in attack, Marko Arnautovic will take the place of Alexis Sanchez. He will partner captain Lautaro Martinez up front.

This is due to the continued absence of Marcus Thuram, who suffered a muscle strain against Atletico last week.

Barella, Bastoni & Pavard All Come Back Into The Lineup Vs Atalanta

There will be three big names to return to the starting eleven tomorrow.

One is midfielder Barella. The former Cagliari midfielder was rested from the start against Lecce, although he came on to replace Asllani in the second half after the Albanian picked up a booking.

According to Sky, Barella will be back. But he will not be taking the place of Asllani.

Rather, it is Davide Frattesi who will drop out of the lineup, allowing Barella to slot back into his customary position on the right of midfield.

And in defense, Inter coach Simone Inzaghi will reshuffle the pack.

Against Lecce, Carlos Augusto had started to the left of de Vrij, and Yann Bisseck to the left.

Both of that duo will drop to the bench. In their place, the usual first-choice starters Bastoni and Pavard will return to the team.
