With a goal and assist in three minutes, Davide Frattesi showed how decisive he can be for Inter Milan against Lecce.

L’Interista note that the 24-year-old received top marks in the player ratings for the 4-0 Serie A win across Italian media.

Frattesi has already had a big impact in a few matches as an Inter player.

But more often than not, this has come off the bench.

For example, the former Sassuolo midfielder assisted Lautaro Martinez’s late equalizer away to Real Sociedad.

And most notably of all, it was Frattesi who scored Inter’s late winning goal against Hellas Verona last month.

These moments have shown how Frattesi can take advantage of big moments. He seems to have the ideal profile to turn a match on its head when things start to get stretched.

But against Lecce, the Italian international showed how much of an impact he can also have in matches where he starts.

Davide Frattesi Has Decisive Impact For Inter Vs Lecce

Frattesi made just his third start in Serie A for Inter against Lecce at the Via del Mare.

It was a difficult for half for Inter as a whole. But the 24-year-old did help to give his team a foothold in the midfield battle against a high-pressing Giallorossi side with his endless running.

And in the second half, Frattesi really came alive.

First, it was the 24-year-old who scored Inter’s second goal.

This may not have been strictly necessary for the Nerazzurri to win the match, as they had already been ahead. But it was a huge help in giving the team some breathing room.

And then Frattesi followed it up just three minutes later with an equally important.

It was the Italian’s run and well-timed pass that released Lautaro Martinez for Inter’s third goal.

In the space of three minutes, Frattesi had done everything to calm the Nerazzurri nerves, and take the wind out of the Lecce sails.
