Inter Milan have been behind for a grand total of 38 minutes in Serie A matches during the season so far.

Today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews, highlight one of the most remarkable statistics of the Nerazzurri’s flying season.

Inter have been enjoying a remarkable season to date.

The Nerazzurri have won 21 of the matches they’ve played in Serie A.

There have been three draws, and just one defeat.

The defeat came against Sassuolo. And it was actually a comeback victory by the Neroverdi at the San Siro, who had been trailing at halftime.

Sassuolo scored twice after the interval to win the match 2-1, however.

The winning goal from Domenico Berardi arrived a little after the hour mark.

Inter were unable to find a reply to take anything from that match. But it proved to be one of very few times that Inter have spent trailing this season.

Inter Milan Have Trailed For Just 38 Minutes In Serie A

In two of Inter’s three draws, they have actually scored the opening goal.

The Nerazzurri actually scored twice against Bologna in October, early on in the match. The Rossoblu, however, came up with two goals without reply to take a point from that match.

And Inter had also scored the opener against Genoa in December.

But the Rossoblu pegged them back with a goal just before halftime.

In neither of those matches did Inter actually fall behind at any point.

Meanwhile, Juventus were ahead against Inter through a Dusan Vlahovic goal in November. But Lautaro Martinez equalized just minutes later.

Lastly, Roma also enjoyed a period with the lead against Inter earlier this month.

Inter had gone ahead in that match. Then Gianluca Mancini and Stephan El Shaarawy turned the match around for a period.

But Inter would go on to score three goals in the second half to win that match.
