Federico Dimarco feels that the way that Inter Milan are playing right now is something beautiful to watch.

The 26-year-old spoke to Italian broadcaster DAZN, via FCInterNews, after the Nerazzurri defeated Atalanta 4-0 in Serie A.

Inter have now won eleven matches on the bounce across all competitions.

That means that the Nerazzurri have not yet failed to win a match since the start of 2024.

Inter are twelve points clear of Juventus at the top of the Serie A table. They have won their last eight matches in the league, and the last four by scoring four goals.

Inter have a goal difference that sits at an eye-watering +55 in Serie A.

And in the Champions League, Inter beat Atletico Madrid in the first leg of their round of sixteen tie last week.

There is a real sense of hope that the Nerazzurri can do another deep run in the competition, like last season when they reached the final.

Federico Dimarco: This Inter Milan Beautiful To Watch

It has not just been the results that Inter have been getting, however.

The performances, like this evening’s against Atalanta, have also been highly impressive.

“This Inter really is beautiful to watch,” Dimarco said.

“We enjoy our football. And we also joke around in the dressing room, we have fun in training, there’s a good atmosphere here.”

“The awareness of our strength as a group came after the Champions League final,” Dimarco continued.

The Italian international noted that “Some great players left. But top players came in to replace them.”

And Dimarco also explained why he cringed after Matteo Darmian missed a chance for a second goal.

“I remember when I was at Verona, he scored against us!” the 26-year-old laughed.

“And now, he missed!”

As well, Dimarco praised Lautaro Martinez as Inter’s captain. “We’re talking about an absolutely top-class player,” he said of the Argentine.

“He won the World Cup.”

“For us, he’s the captain. He gives us a positive feeling.”
