Former Inter manager Arrigo Sacchi feels that AC Milan and Juventus don’t deserve to be chastised for their inability to cope with Inter Milan’s pace.

The Nerazzurri have been leading the Serie A standings since the start of the season. But in recent weeks, they have left their chasers in the dust with an empathic run.

Simone Inzghi’s men have won their last eight league fixtures, and even scored four goals in each of their last four games.

Therefore, Inter have now extended their gap to 12 points with second-placed Juventus. Meanwhile, Milan sit third in the table, 16 points adrift from the top.

In recent weeks, the Bianconeri and the Rossoneri have been receiving criticism after watching their Scudetto aspirations chatter.

Nevertheless, Sacchi views it otherwise.

The legendary Milan coach feels that Inter are currently operating on a whole different level. Therefore, the fans must not blame their rivals for failing to catch up.

“Thanks to the power of their ideas. Inter are playing spectacular, modern, European football,” said the 77-year-old in his interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport via FcInterNews.

“So it’s not right to criticize Milan and Juve because they can’t keep up with the Nerazzurri.

“Nevertheless, these clubs have to learn how to read the situations and operate accordingly.

“Milan will have to sign functional players at the right price. But to do so, competence is needed at the level of the top brass.”

The Rossoneri suffered an agonizing 1-5 demolition at the hands of Inter early in the season. The two city rivals will cross paths once more on April 21st.
