Midfielder Davide Frattesi trained normally with the rest of the Inter Milan squad today, despite one or two injury worries.

This according to Italian news outlet Gazzetta.it. The Gazzetta report that Frattesi will definitely be available for Saturday’s Serie A away trip to Bologna.

Frattesi had a bit of an injury scare during Monday’s Serie A match against Bologna.

The former Sassuolo midfielder had been preparing to come off the bench as a substitute.

However, as he was warming up, Frattesi felt some pain in his leg. Therefore, he indicated to the bench that he would not be ready to play in the match.

Injuries have been a bit of a theme for Frattesi in his first season at Inter.

The Italian international has hardly been dealing with any long-term serious injuries. But there have been niggling muscle problems that have occasionally kept him out for one or two matches.

Frattesi has also suffered from a minor injury during Inter’s Serie A win over Atalanta last week.

In fact, that issue had been enough to force the 24-year-old off as a substitute, just over ten minutes after he had come onto the pitch.

Even more bittersweetly, Frattesi came off moments after scoring a goal.

That has somewhat set the tone for Frattesi in the past week or so. There have been no serious injuries, but there has been a lot of uncertainty about the player’s condition.

Frattesi had initially been scheduled to undergo medical tests today.

These would shed more light on the midfielder’s condition and availability to play on Saturday at the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara.

But according to the Gazzetta, these tests did not prove to be necessary.

Frattesi’s pain disappeared on its own. The player was able to complete a full training session with the rest of his teammates without any discomfort.
