Bologna coach Thiago Motta has heaped praise on Inter Milan for their dominant run in Serie A over the past few months.

The Rossoblu coach spoke to Italian broadcaster DAZN, via FCInterNews, after his team fell to a 0-1 defeat at the hands of the league leaders.

Inter made it ten wins from ten in the league against Bologna this evening.

The Nerazzurri were always going to have their work cut out for them against a Bologna team who have been outstanding all season long and earned a spot in fourth in the table.

And so it proved. Particularly in the second half, the Emilians pushed Inter all the way.

But Inter bent without breaking defensively, keeping another clean sheet.

And at the other end, a first half goal from Yann Bisseck was enough to ensure that the Nerazzurri were able to take home the three points.

This was another example of how Inter are able to find solutions in attack in tough matches.

Even without dominating possession or laying on the chances, the Nerazzurri found the quality and decisiveness from an unexpected source. That is why they continue to keep winning in Serie A.

Bologna Coach Thiago Motta Heaps Praise On Dominant Inter

Speaking after the match, Motta remarked that “We put in a good performance against a team in great form.”

“To compete with them you have to do well in all aspects of the game,” he continued.

Motta said that :We played well.”

“We played with courage. We didn’t allow them space in transition. But we conceded a goal that was avoidable, particularly against a team like Inter.”

“They know how to manage the game well,” Motta said of the Nerazzurri.

“I just have to congratulate Inter,” the Bologna coach said. He has his share of experience with the Nerazzurri, having won the Treble with the club as a player.

“They deserve everything they have,” he added.
