Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi feels that defender Yann Bisseck deserves his moment in the sun for how hard he works in training.

The Nerazzurri coach spoke to InterTV, via FCInterNews, after the Nerazzurri’s 1-0 Serie A win over Bologna. He praised the 23-year-old German international after his goal and solid performance.

Inter made it ten wins in a row in Serie A away to Bologna yesterday evening.

And defender Bisseck had a big role to play in the result.

The German was in the starting eleven at the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara.

Bisseck has not always found playing time easy to come by in recent weeks. The amount of defensive depth in Inter’s squad has made that the case.

But the young defender was given the chance to shine yesterday evening.

And that is exactly what Bisseck did.

The 23-year-old did not just look impressive defensively, although he did that too – Bisseck helped Inter to keep yet another clean sheet in Serie A up against a formidable Bologna attack.

Bisseck also pushed forward in impressive fashion.

And the Inter defender got the reward for his attacking ambition. He headed home from an Alessandro Bastoni cross to score Inter’s winning goal.

And of the win over Bologna, Inzaghi said that “It was a vital match to win.”
