Simone Inzaghi feels that everyone at Inter Milan is determined to go all the way in both Serie A and the Champions League.

The Nerazzurri coach spoke to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInterNews, ahead of tomorrow evening’s Champions League round of sixteen clash with Atletico Madrid.

Tomorrow, Inter will have the chance to plant their flag in the Champions League quarterfinals.

It certainly won’t be easy. The Nerazzurri must overcome Atletico Madrid at the Metropolitano.

Even with a slender 1-0 advantage from the first leg, it will hardly be easy for Inter.

But the Nerazzurri have already proven their mettle in Europe under Simone Inzaghi.

Last season, Inter reached the final of the Champions League. There, they went toe-to-toe with Manchester City, though it was not enough to avoid a 1-0 defeat.

Moreover, Inter are also showing their outstanding quality in the league.

The Nerazzurri currently sixteen points clear of city rivals AC Milan at the top of the Serie A table.

Therefore, the team have every reason to dream – both domestically, and in Europe.

Inzaghi: Inter Want To Go All The Way In Serie A & Champions League

Asked if Inter want to go all the way both in Serie A and in Europe, Inzaghi replied “That’s what everyone is hoping for.”

“After getting our of the group we’re in the round of sixteen for the third season in a row,” the coach noted.

“And then, qualifying for the Club World Cup wasn’t to be taken for granted at all.”

“But tomorrow we know it will be a battle, against a strong team with a great coach,” Inzaghi said.

As far as Inter’s percentage of going through to the quarterfinals, Inzaghi replied “I’m no good with percentages.”

“There’s the result of the first leg,” the Nerazzurri coach noted.

“That’s a small advantage. But we’ll try not to think about the first leg, and just play our game.”

Inzaghi added that “We won. But it wasn’t easy, because Atleti showed that they’re a good team.”
