Inter Milan’s season in the Champions League came to a disappointing end against Atletico Madrid.
The Nerazzurri had come into their round of sixteen tie against the Colchoneros in an optimistic mood.
And a first leg win gave Inter an advantage to protect to once again reach the quarterfinals.
But it was the Colchoneros who proved to be the stronger team on the night in the second leg.
