Inter Milan and Napoli are eyeing up a summer move for 26-year-old PSV defender Olivier Boscagli.

This according to broadcaster ESPN, via FCInterNews. The broadcaster notes that Boscagli’s contract with the Dutch club runs out at the end of June 2025, and he could be available.

Inter and Napoli are both on the hunt for a defensive signing ahead of next season.

In the Nerazzurri’s case there has been uncertainty around the future of veteran former Lazio and Sassuolo defender Francesco Acerbi.

Reports are now suggesting that the Nerazzurri are in fact ready to keep Acerbi. However, they would still require a player to back up the 36-year-old and bolster defensive depth.

Meanwhile, in Napoli’s case, last season’s Serie A champions have yet to really replace Kim Min-Jae in defense. The Partenopei are likely to aim for their next defensive stalwart this summer.

Inter & Napoli Keen To Sign PSV Defender Olivier Boscagli

According to ESPN, one player who has come onto the radar of both Inter and Napoli is Boscagli.

The PSV defender is currently in his fifth season in the Eredivisie.

Boscagli had joined PSV from Ligue 1 side Nice during the summer of 2019.

And Boscagli has made a total of 153 appearances for the Eindhoven-based club so far.

However, this may be Boscagli’s final season with PSV. The Frenchman’s contract with his current club runs until the end of June 2025.

And with it looking unlikely that Boscagli will extend his deal, the Dutch side could be willing to listen to offers for the 26-year-old so that they can cash in while they still can.

And according to ESPN, both Inter and Napoli are keeping an eye on the situation.

Boscagli has made appearances for France at various youth team levels. He has played for Les Bleus’ Under-21 side, but never the senior team.
