The Blue Energy Stadium in Udine will be sold-out for Monday’s Serie A match between Udinese and Inter Milan.

This according to today’s print edition of Udine-based newspaper Il Gazzettino, via FCInterNews. The newspaper also anticipates that there will be more than four thousand Inter fans in expected.

Next week, Inter travel to Friuli to face Udinese in matchday 31 of Serie A.

The last time that the two teams met was at the San Siro. That match saw Inter win 4-0.

But it will hardly be a straightforward match for the Nerazzurri in which to run up a similar scoreline a second time around.

Whilst Udinese are battling for Serie A survival, having failed to amass points due to a high number of draws, the Friulani have managed to get statement wins against the likes of AC Milan, Juventus, and Lazio.

And there will certainly be no lack of motivation from Udinese.

Like Empoli this past Monday, the Bianconeri are right in the relegation battle.

Therefore, there is every chance of Udinese putting in the same kind of performance that Empoli did at the San Siro.

The Tuscans had really pushed Inter with an organized, physical approach. The Same was true when relegation-battlers Hellas Verona visited the San Siro in January.

Blue Energy Stadium Sold-Out For Udinese Vs Inter Serie A Clash

The fact that next Monday’s match will take place in Udinese will add to the difficulty for Inter.

The Nerazzurri will be playing in front of a full house, Il Gazzettino reports.

The over 25,000 seats at the Blue Energy Stadium (so named for sponsorship reasons, and also known as the Friuli Stadium) will all be full.

But not all of them will be Udinese supporters.

Il Gazzettino note that over four thousand of the spectators should be Nerazzurri supporters.

This is partly due to the presence of a number of Inter fan clubs in the surrounding area.
