Inter Milan will travel to China for their preseason tour this summer at the end of July.

Today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews, report that the Nerazzurri will play in the city of Chengdu, and possibly another city in China.

Inter are starting to firm up their plans for the summer.

It will be sure to be a hectic summer, with major international tournaments seeing the Nerazzurri’s squad in action.

The majority of the players in Inter’s squad are Europeans, most of whom play for their national teams. That means that plenty of Nerazzurri players will be in action at the Euros.

Then, Inter captain Lautaro Martinez will be among Argentina’s key players at the Copa America.

Meanwhile, there could even be the Olympics to contend with.

Inter have however indicated that they will not allow their captain to play in the Olympic tournament. This would conflict with the Nerazzurri’s own preseason preparations.

Inter Milan To Head To China For Preseason Tour At End Of July

Inter coach Simone Inzaghi will get his squad available to him in mid-July, as players start filtering back from international tournaments.

There will certainly be some changes to the squad. A few players will certainly depart, whilst the Nerazzurri can also be expected to make a handful of signings.

And then, there will be the matter of preseason tour.

Last summer, Inter played in Japan. They used the preseason tour as an opportunity not just to gain match-fitness, but also increase the profile of their brand.

And this summer it will be something not dissimilar, reports Tuttosport.

Inter will travel to China. They will give the Chinese fans a rare chance to see the Nerazzurri play live, a potential commercial boon as the club target greater popularity in the Chinese market.

Tuttosport report that Inter will travel to the Asian country at the end of July.

There will be an appearance in the city of Chengdu, the newspaper anticipate. And then Inter could also add another city to their itinerary.
