The agent of Lille and Canada striker Jonathan David was in Milan recently, where he spoke with Inter Milan and AC Milan.

This according to Italian transfer journalist Nicolo Schira. He reported on his Twitter account that the 24-year-old could leave Lille this summer, and that the Nerazzurri and the Rossoneri are among his admirers.

David is currently in his fourth season at Lille.

The Canadian joined the Ligue 1 side during the summer of 2020. He made the switch from Belgian side Gent.

In David’s first season at Lille, they won a shock French league title ahead of Paris Saint-Germain.

On an individual level, however, that was far from David’s most impressive season with Lille.

Rather, the Canadian has improved season upon season in terms of his goalscoring.

Last season was David’s most prolific for Lille to date. He score 26 goals across all competitions over the course of the campaign.

And this time around the 24-year-old could very well exceed that amount. He has currently scored 23 goals during the season, with a few weeks left to go.

Agent Of Jonathan David In Talks With Inter & AC Milan

David’s contract with Lille runs out at the end of June 2025.

Therefore, if the French side want to cash in on their prolific striker, this summer would seem to represent the final opportunity in which to do so.

As such, a summer transfer looks to be on the cards.

And David could be on the move to Serie A.

Italian transfer journalist Schira reports that the 24-year-old’s agent was in Milan recently. The purpose of his visit was to speak with Inter and Milan, according to Schira.

It remains to be seen whether either side would be ready to make the move for David.

But the Canadian has been a target for Inter in the past, whilst Milan have scouted him recently.
