Inter Milan president Steven Zhang celebrated the victory over Udinese as he remains deeply involved in the club’s business.

As La Gazzetta dello Spot (via FcInterNews) tells it, the patron defied the time difference to watch his team’s encounter against the Zebrette earlier this week.

The Nerazzurri prevailed thanks to a last-gasp goal from Davide Frattesi who completed the comeback. They are now a couple of victories away from sealing the title.

Zhang, who is based in China, was up by dawn to enjoy the win, explains the pink newspaper. He also expressed his delight with a post on Instagram.

But while the patron used to recurringly attend some of the club’s most prestigious fixtures, he has been completely absent from the stands this season.

The club president has been in China over the past months while dealing with some legal and financial issues.

Nevertheless, the source insists that his physical absence hasn’t prevented him from conducting his duties at the club.

Inter Milan President Steven Zhang Remains In Constant Contact With The Management

GdS explains how Zhang has never missed a meeting. He remains in daily contact with the Inter directors and coach Simone Inzaghi.

The Nerazzurri patron is also working on increasing the club’s revenues, with the new stadium project being a priority.

Zhang is also planning a pre-season tour that will bring the squad to his native country of China next summer.

In the meantime, the 32-year-old will be seeking a solution with Oaktree Capital before May 20th. Some sources tip the two parties to agree on a deadline extension.
