Inter Milan defender Yann Bisseck feels that the Nerazzurri are well-prepared to face a “tricky” match against Cagliari this evening.

The Germany spoke to InterTV ahead of the Serie A clash, via FCInterNews. He emphasized that coach Simone Inzaghi has impressed on the team what they must do.

This evening, Inter have an opportunity to get within grasping distance of the Serie A title.

City rivals AC Milan dropped points in their match away to Sassuolo this evening.

That means that Inter can set up a derby next Monday in which they will need just a draw in order to clinch the title.

But the Nerazzurri will have to beat Cagliari first.

And that is hardly a result that Inter will be taking for granted.

The Rossoblu are in good form. In their last match, they achieved a hugely impressive win over Atalanta.

Moreover, there is the fact that Claudio Ranieri’s team are still very much feeling the pressure of the relegation battle.

That will certainly be ample motivation for the Sardinians to throw everything at Inter in search of a surprise result.

Yann Bisseck: Cagliari Tricky, But Inter Prepared

Inter defender Bisseck, who starts in place of the suspended Benjamin Pavard, anticipated that this evening “Will be a tricky match. As with every match.”

“But we’re ready for it.”

“We’re prepared because we’ve already faced these kinds of teams this season,” Bisseck said.

The 23-year-old added that “Our coach has prepared us well for this match, and we know what we have to do to get the three points.”

Meanwhile, Bisseck also gave his thoughts on his season so far.

“When you come from a smaller league to a league like Serie A, and to a team like Inter, you have a lot to learn,” the Germany Under-21 international said.

“Particularly in the first few months.”

“But I’ve always been ready,” Bisseck said. “When the coach has called me into action.”

“This is just the beginning of my career,” he added. “I’m not at the end.”
