Monza goalkeeper Michele Di Gregorio is enjoying the interest he’s receiving from the big Serie A clubs, namely Inter Milan, AC Milan and Juventus.

The 26-year-old started his career as a youth product of Inter. In 2020, he joined Monza on loan before making his move permanent in 2022.

The Italian rose to prominence following the Biancorossi’s promotion to Serie A.

While he was one of the breakout stars of the Italian top flight last season, he has taken his level up a notch this term. He made 29 appearances in Serie A thus far, conceding 28 goals and registering an impressive 14 clean sheets.

Therefore, Di Gregorio’s exploits have caught the attention of the big Serie A boys.

Inter Milan Transfer Target Michele Di Gregorio Happy With Big Clubs’ Interest

The goalkeeper didn’t hide his content with the transfer links. While he would like to remain focused on Monza until the end of the season, he’s keeping the door open for a summer switch.

“The interest (from Inter, Milan and Juventus) is certainly pleasing,” admitted Di Gregorio while on the sidelines of an event organized by the Silver Sponsor FitActive via FcInterNews.

“However, I have a contract with Monza and as long as I’m here I’ll only think about the club.

“There are six games left and we must all remain focused. At the end of the season, we will see what happens, whether there will be something or not.”

The goalkeeper’s contract with Monza is valid until the summer of 2027.

The interviewer also asked the Italian shot-stopper about the upcoming Derby della Madonnina. Despite his Nerazzurri past, Di Gregorio opted for a diplomatic answer.

“I hope for a good match, I think the Milan Derby is always a great encounter. Let’s hope we have some fun.”
