The derby is always a big occasion in Italian football.

Matches between Inter and AC Milan are among the showpiece fixtures for Serie A regardless of what the league title looks like or which trophies are on offer.

This time around, Inter and Milan are first and second in the table.

However, the derby will not exactly be a title-decider.

Rather, the Nerazzurri could clinch the title with five matches to spare by beating their city rivals.

And even if the Rossoneri were to come away with a win or a draw, they would only be delaying the inevitable.

Nevertheless, the Scudetto factor has added another layer of intrigue and excitement to the derby.

The Gazzetta report that the press box will be absolutely full for Monday’s derby.

There will be seventy broadcasters who will show the match in over two hundred countries.

Then, there will be DAZN carrying the match in Italy.

And the Italian broadcaster will have a familiar name among the punditry team for the match.

Legendary former AC Milan and Juventus striker Filippo Inzaghi is certainly a man with Rossoneri connections.

However, the 2006 World Cup winner is also the brother of Inter coach Simone Inzaghi.

Inzaghi will be a key part of the DAZN punditry team for Monday’s derby. He will join the likes of former Inter coach Andrea Stramaccioni, and broadcaster Diletta Leotta.
