Steven Zhang has dismissed the rumours of Suning possibly selling Inter Milan soon,

The Nerazzurri President spoke to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInterNews. He also expressed his pride in the entire team for this season.

Rumours about potential new owners for Inter have never really gone away.

Particularly during the years of financial issues at the club since the beginning of the pandemic, reports have filtered in fairly regularly of interest in buying the Nerazzurri from current owners Suning.

The latest have concerned the Saudi royal family potentially attempting a takeover.

However, these are far from the first. There have been a number of potential buyers linked with Inter.

Nevertheless, Suning remain at the helm through all of the rumours regarding a possible sale.

None of the reports of interest have developed into any real concrete attempts to purchase Inter from Suning.

And for their part, the current owners are very much working to try and stay in control.

Reportedly, Suning are on the verge of securing a new loan from US-based fund PIMCO that would enable them to finance their debt to Oaktree Capital.
