Defender Federico Dimarco will be on the bench for Inter Milan’s Serie A clash with Torino after picking up a knock in training.

Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInterNews, report that the 26-year-old has picked up a slight strain to his right calf, and that he will not play during tomorrow afternoon’s match.

Inter take on Torino in Serie A tomorrow evening at the San Siro.

The Nerazzurri will hardly need a result for the Serie A title. They have already clinched the Serie A title with a victory over city rivals AC Milan last week.

However, it will be an evening to celebrate the title in front of their fans.

And of course, the Nerazzurri will still be hoping to pick up a victory against the Granata.

Inter are still chasing a few places in the record books this season. Moreover, the possibility of finishing the season with over a hundred points remains on the table for the Nerazzurri.

Federico Dimarco Picks Up Knock – Only On Bench For Inter Vs Torino Serie A Clash

One player who will not be playing for Inter tomorrow is Dimarco.

The Italian international picked up a slight calf sprain ahead of today’s training session. Therefore, he did not train with the rest of his teammates.

Naturally, there is little reason to take any risks with the fitness of a player as important as Dimarco over the remaining matches of the season.

The 26-year-old will undergo medical tests in the next few days, reports Sky.

In the meantime, Dimarco may not be playing tomorrow. But he will be part of the matchday squad.

That is so that the Italian international can receive the guard of honour from the Torino players at the start of the match, as Inter begin their title celebrations.

However, Sky anticipate, there would be no chance of Dimarco actually taking to the pitch due to the calf problem.
