Beppe Marotta says that every player in the Inter Milan would stay at the club this summer if they could.

The Nerazzurri CEO spoke to Italian broadcaster RAI Sport, via FCInter1908.

This summer, there will inevitably be some transfers in and out of Inter.

There are already a couple of new signings that will be confirmed soon – Mehdi Taremi and Piotr Zielinski will join on free transfers.

Then, there are a few players whose contracts currently expire at the end of the campaign.

These include Alexis Sanchez, Juan Cuadrado, and Davy Klaassen.

Meanwhile, Inter could certainly make sales during the summer. Particularly if they decide that they want to raise funds to bring players in the other direction.

But that does not mean that there are any players agitating to leave.

On the contrary, Inter’s squad have just won the Serie A title, and by all accounts the atmosphere in the dressing room is very good.

Beppe Marotta: “Everyone In Inter Milan Squad Wants To Stay”

Marotta said at Inter’s Serie A title celebrations that “There is one man above all who is the architect of this party.”

“Inzaghi,” the CEO named. “Who is the leader of this team, and does well to manage the resources that are available to him.”

“And then Lautaro plays the role of captain in the classic sense,” Marotta noted.

“He’s able to charge his teammates on, and bring all the team together,” he said of the Nerazzurri captain.

“But it’s not just the two of them,” Marotta said of possible contract extensions.

“We will have to analyze every contract situation at the club,” the CEO noted.

“And the starting point will be understanding that everyone wants to stay.”

Of the club’s transfer strategy for this summer, Marotta noted that “In Italy, it’s not possible for clubs to make big investments. So it’ll be necessary for us to show competence and creativity.”
