The Serie A title is also proving to be a big boost for Inter Milan financially.

Today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, highlight how the Nerazzurri are raking in commercial revenues and also seeing the value of the squad skyrocket.

Naturally, Inter’s primary incentive to win the Serie A title is hardly a financial one.

However, there is no denying that, off the pitch, the club’s financial health is hugely important.

And in that respect, the team’s triumph in Serie A this season has certainly been welcome.

In terms of commercial revenues, the Serie A title victory has been a big boost for Inter’s brand.

The Nerazzurri have worked hard to increase commercial revenues in recent years.

And now these efforts are bearing more fruit than ever. Particularly given the increase in brand value that comes from the Scudetto.

Inter can count on 16 million in various bonuses and increases in the brand value across a number of commercial deals, according to the Gazzetta.

That is on top of the 50 million or so that Inter are already counting on from sponsorship and other commercial deals.

Serie A Title A “Gold Star” For Inter Milan

Inter have also earned the maximum possible amount from broadcasting revenues in Serie A by winning the title.

The Nerazzurri will bring in 23.4 million from domestic broadcasting rights.

Then, there is another 10 million from UEFA broadcasting rights.

Meanwhile, the squad value has also risen significantly at Inter due to the performances of many key players across the season.

Nerazzurri captain Lautaro Martinez is now worth no less than 120 million, suggests the Gazzetta.

Both midfielder Nicolo Barella and striker Marcus Thuram have values of 85 million.

For defender Alessandro Bastoni that number is 70 million.

And midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu, who signed for Inter on a free transfer, is valued at 50 million.
