Inter Milan will not debut their new shirt for the 2024-25 season until the start of July.

This according to Italian news outlet Gazzett.it. The outlet notes that the Nerazzurri will not debut the shirt prior to then because of league rules on the Scudetto crest.

Inter will have a new shirt design for next season. Reports indicate that the shirt will have largely vertical blue and black stripes, but with some stripes that are instead horizontal on one side.

There will also be a new shirt sponsor. For the fourth season in a row since ending their long-term partnership with Pirelli, the Nerazzurri will take on a new sponsor.

This time around it will be betting company Betsson.

And then there will be a couple other major additions to the Inter shirt for next season.

First of all, there will be the second star over Inter’s club crest on the shirt.

That will be to represent twenty Serie A titles, after the Nerazzurri clinched this season’s Scudetto.

Then, there will be the Scudetto crest itself. That crest, with the colours of the Italian flag, will sit in the middle of the shirt.

Why Inter Milan Won’t Debut 2024-25 Shirt Officially Until Start Of July

Inter will not be debuting the new shirt for next season until the start of July, the Gazzetta reports.

Normally, teams would debut the upcoming season’s shirt in the last couple matches of the ongoing one.

That is to give exposure to the shirt for commercial reasons.

However, Inter will not be able to debut the shirt with the Scudetto crest.

That is because, per league regulations, that crest will still be on the shirts of last season’s champions Napoli until the end of June.

Therefore, Inter will have to wait until after then.

Therefore, the first appearance of next season’s shirt should be in a training match at the start of July.

Then, Inter’s squad can wear the shirt in their preseason tour of China during the summer, reports the Gazzetta.
