Alexis Sanchez will start in attack for Inter Milan against Sassuolo this evening.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews. The newspaper also anticipate that Davide Frattesi, Kristjan Asllani, and Carlos Augusto will be in the lineup for the Serie A clash.

At the moment, Sanchez is just a couple of months away from the end of his contract with Inter.

The former Arsenal and Barcelona veteran signed a one-year deal with the Nerazzurri when he joined on a free transfer last summer.

And at the moment, it looks quite clear that Sanchez will be on his way out when his contract expires at the end of June.

However, that does not mean that Sanchez cannot go out on a high note.

The 35-year-old has more or less done what Inter brought him in to do.

Sanchez has provided attacking depth and a different profile to those of the other forwards in the squad.

Sanchez certainly has not been a regular starter. But he has made a few telling contributions, both from the start and from the bench.

The Chilean has added yet another trophy to his cabinet in the form of the Serie A title, along with the Supercoppa Italiana.

And at this stage, there is not a whole lot left for Sanchez to do. There are no more trophies left for Inter to fight for.

Alexis Sanchez To Start For Inter Vs Sassuolo

For Sanchez, though, there is still a personal mission to enjoy a positive end to the season.

The Chilean wants to keep proving his worth to Inter as long as he wears the shirt.

And so Sanchez wants to take advantage of the last few opportunities of the season.

The veteran forward is aiming to perhaps bag a couple more goals or assists. And to put in a few more good performances in Serie A.

And Sanchez will get his opportunity this evening.

Tuttosport anticipate that the Chilean will play from the first moment, ahead of Marko Arnautovic.

Meanwhile, on the left flank it will be Carlos Augusto. And in midfield, Davide Frattesi and Kristjan Asllani.
