Simone Inzaghi will make clear to Inter Milan that he expects reinforcements to the squad during the summer transfer window.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews.

In the next couple of weeks, Inter will hold a meeting in which they plot their transfer strategy for this summer.

The club directors along with coach Inzaghi will lay out the needs of the squad. They will also evaluate targets and decide upon what the most important priorities are.

Naturally, there will be financial restrictions that Inter must work within.

That is certainly no secret. The Nerazzurri have had to face financial limitations for several summers now.

And the club’s directors, and in particular Beppe Marotta have always emphasized financial sustainability.

But there will also be sporting considerations, of course.

And according to Tuttosport, Inzaghi is ready to make some demands of the club.

Simone Inzaghi To Demand Inter Milan Reinforce Squad This Summer

According to Tuttosport, Inzaghi doesn’t just want to lock down the existing squad.

Naturally, that is the single most important thing.

Inter have had a massively successful season. And with most of the key players in the squad still in their twenties, the feeling is that the best may be yet to come.

Therefore, Inzaghi has stressed that there cannot be sales like those of Andre Onana, Achraf Hakimi, and Romelu Lukaku in past summers.

But the coach won’t be satisfied. He wants improvements to the team, particularly in terms of the sqaud depth.

In goal, Inter are likely to go with Bento, with the assent of Inzaghi.

Then, in defense, Torino’s Alessandro Buongiorno would be the dream to shore up the backline.

And in attack, Inzaghi is adamant that Inter need another striker, Tuttosport report. The coach’s preferred target is Genoa forward Albert Gudmundsson.
