A report in the Italian media explains how the value of the Inter Milan squad soared under the guidance of Simone Inzaghi.

“Wherever I coach, revenues increase and trophies arrive,” this line has become synonymous with the Nerazzurri’s head coach.

It has certainly been the case since his arrival at Appiano Gentile. The club won six trophies with the 48-year-old at the helm, with the latest being the Serie A title.

Moreover, Il Corriere dello Sport (via FcInterNews) reveals how the squad’s valuation has boomed, partially thanks to the manager.

The squad’s value has reportedly risen from 456 to 661 million euros, registering a 45% increase.

As the source explains, Inzaghi deserves a large part of the credit for the way he managed to improve the players at his disposal.

However, the report doesn’t fail the mention the integral role of the management led by CEO Beppe Marotta and sporting director Piero Ausilio.

Inter Milan Squad Value Soared Under Simone Inzaghi

As the Roman newspaper explains, Marcus Thuram’s signing played a major part in boosting the squad’s value.

The Frenchman arrived as a free agent from Borussia Monchengladbach last summer. He swiftly established himself as a pillar at the club, striking a wonderful understanding with club captain Lautaro Martinez.

The 26-year-old’s value is now between 70 and 75 million euros.

Moreover, the likes of Nicolo Barella and Alessandro Bastoi also saw their market values rise this season. The Italy duo have been delivering brilliant displays this season.

The same goes for Hakan Calhanglu who arrived at Inter in the summer of 2021 as an inconsistent midfielder.

The Turkish star has now established himself as one of the best deep-lying playmakers in Europe.

Even Benjamin Pavard’s arrival boosted the numbers. Inter bought the defender from Bayern Munich at a discount as he was running on an expiring contract. But he has now regained his original market value.
