Inter Milan transfer target Albert Gudmundsson is no longer keen to join the Premier League as he used to be in the past.

The Icelandic star has been plying his trade in Italy since signing for Genoa in January 2022.

The 26-year-old led the Grifone back to Serie A last season before cementing himself as arguably the biggest breakout star of the current campaign.

Gudmundsson caught the eyes of fans and observers alike for his neat dribbling skills and impressive strikes. He has netted 16 goals in all competitions this season.

Therefore, many expect the second striker to leave the Luigi Ferraris at the end of the season and head towards greener pastures.

His list of suitors includes the likes of Inter, Juventus, Napoli and Tottenham Hotspur.

Instead, he intends to find a project that suits his characteristics and allows him to express his talent as best as possible.

Therefore, he even keeps the door open to staying at Genoa.

If as a child I dreamed of the Premier League. But now I have changed my mind. This is life,” said the attacker in his interview with Sportweek via FcInterNews.

“Therefore, Genoa and I will sit at the table soon enough and find the best solution for both of us.”

Gudmundsson reiterates the importance of the technical factor when it comes to choosing his career path.
