Inter Milan are aiming to bring in a total of around €70 million in transfer fees from player sales this summer.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews. The newspaper anticipate that is the target for the Nerazzurri to invest in new signings.

Inter’s summer transfer window will soon be underway.

The Nerazzurri will not need to make any big name sales in order to turn a profit in the transfer markets as when they sold players like Achraf Hakimi and Romelu Lukaku in 2021.

However, it will be a situation more like last summer. Inter will have to “sell to buy.”

The priority will be to keep the spine of the squad in attack. The Gazzetta report that there is unlikely to be a sale like those of Andre Onana or Marcelo Brozovic from last summer.

However, the newspaper anticipate, Inter do still want to raise a fair bit of cash for signings.

Inter Milan Targeting 70M In Player Sales – Carboni & Dumfries Possible Departures

The first candidate to leave would be 19-year-old attacking midfielder Valentin Carboni.

The Argentine will return from his loan spell at Monza, and Inter will have to sort out his future.

And the Gazzetta report that the Nerazzurri would in fact be ready to sell Carboni.

The sale of the teenage midfielder could bring in a fee of at least 30 million. This would be vital as far as reinvesting in signings.

Then, wingback Denzel Dumfries is the one regular starter who could leave this summer.

The Dutchman is a player who Inter will look to sell if he does not sign an extension to his contract, which runs out at the end of next June.

Inter will expect a fee of 25-30 million for Dumfries. Champions League new boys Aston Villa are keen on the 28-year-old.

Forward Joaquin Correa is certainly a player Inter will hope to sell this summer.

And then the Nerazzurri could also listen to offers for former Bologna striker Marko Arnautovic.

Meanwhile, the Gazzetta report, all of Martin Satriano, Sebastiano and Francesco Pio Esposito, Gaetano Oristanio, Filip Stankovic, and Mattia Zanotti are players Inter would listen to offers for.
