The beginning of the Oaktree era at Inter Milan will yield three major contract extensions, as Simone Inzaghi and Nicolo Barella will follow Lautaro Martinez.

According to all accounts, the Nerazzurri have secured an agreement with their club captain following back-and-forth talks.

The Argentine will earn a pay rise that would take his net salary up to 9 million euros. He will also collect 2M as bonuses per year.

The 26-year-old could become the first Nerazzurri star to sign a new contract under the Oaktree banner.

The American investment company has taken over the club following Sunning’s default last week. But its officials are already at work, collaborating with the club directors.

According to Il Corriere dello Sport via FcInterNews, the Oaktree era will continue to deliver the goods rather swiftly.

After Lautaro’s renewal, Inzaghi and Barella will also sign new deals.

The Italian duo have long had agreements in principle with the management. However, the Suning-Oaktree debacle delayed the signings.
