Inter Wingback Tajon Buchanan Could Be Out Until 2025 After Suffering Tibia Fracture

The big question now is when exactly Buchanan will be able to return to action.

Certainly, the 25-year-old is out for the rest of the Copa America, and will miss Inter’s preseason.

Moreover, Sky report, it is certain that Buchanan will miss a significant amount of time at the start of the upcoming season.

The broadcaster anticipate that the recovery timeline for Buchanan will be no less than four months.

And then once Buchanan has healed, there will be the matter of the Canadian’s return to fitness.

Buchanan may require some time to get back to match fitness and integrate into the team tactically.

Therefore, the earliest that Buchanan could realistically be back on the pitch for Inter would be in the final few weeks of 2024.

And it could be that Buchanan does not play for Inter until the start of next year.

Buchanan’s injury comes as a significant blow to the Nerazzurri in terms of squad depth on the flanks.
