And Bijol has impressed in his two seasons in Serie A.

The Slovenian has looked very much adept playing in the centre of a back three. That has naturally been a quality that has caught Inter’s attention.

Bijol is a tall, physically strong defender. He has shown good aerial ability and man-marking qualities around the penalty area.

That was on full display at the Euros this summer. Bijol won praise for his handling of strikers such as Harry Kane, Aleksandar Mitrovic, Rasmus Hojlund, and Cristiano Ronaldo at the tournament.

And according to Tuttosport, Inter would be ready to move for the 25-year-old if they are to sell de Vrij.
