Legendary former Inter Milan and Italy defender Marco Materazzi turned 51 yesterday.
Materazzi spent a decade with Inter between 2001 and 2011. He made a total of 276 appearances for the Nerazzurri.
During that time, Materazzi won numerous trophies with Inter. This culminated in the Treble of the Serie A title, Coppa Italia, and Champions League in the 2009-10 campaign.
Materazzi also won the World Cup with Italy in 2006. He was famously involved in the incident that saw France captain Zinedine Zidane sent off for headbutting him in the final.
Inter took to Instagram to wish legendary former defender Materazzi a happy birthday.
