Piotr Zielinski, Davide Frattesi, and Mehdi Taremi are all likely to start for Inter Milan against Udinese this weekend.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews.

Inter coach Simone Inzaghi is ready to make some changes to his starting eleven on Saturday.

Last weekend, Inzaghi went with what was on paper more or less his strongest starting eleven in the derby against AC Milan.

However, the performance was far below expectations as Inter deservedly lost 1-2 to their city rivals.

Therefore, Inzaghi is ready to freshen things up.

And according to the Gazzetta, there are a couple changes in particular that are very probable.

Zielinski, Frattesi & Taremi To Start For Inter Vs Udinese

In midfield, injury will force Inzaghi’s hand.

Nicolo Barella, a key midfielder for Inter, is currently out with a thigh strain.

The Italian international’s injury should rule him out for the Nerazzurri’s next few matches. He will likely return after the October international break.

Against Udinese on Saturday, therefore, Davide Frattesi will get the chance to start in place of his fellow Italian international.

But that won’t be the only change that Inzaghi makes to the team, reports the Gazzetta.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan will also drop out of the lineup following an underwhelming display against Milan.

In the Armenian’s place, the Gazzetta anticipates that former Napoli midfielder Piotr Zielinski will start.

Then, there will also be a chance for Mehdi Taremi in attack, the newspaper reports.

The Iranian international has started twice for Inter so far. Against Lecce in the league, and against Manchester City in the Champions League.

And Inzaghi is ready to hand Taremi another start, as he looks to freshen up an attack that looked toothless against Milan.

One of Marcus Thuram or Lautaro Martinez will make way for the 32-year-old.

And according to the Gazzetta, it is likely to be Thuram.

The Frenchman has started every one of Inter’s matches so far this season. He got off to a blazing start, but his form has dropped off after the September international break.
