Striker Marcus Thuram will get a rest in Inter Milan’s Champions League match against Red Star Belgrade tomorrow.
This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews.
So far this season, Thuram has started in every single one of Inter’s matches.
The Nerazzurri have played six Serie A matches now. And they have also faced Manchester City in the Champions League.
And there are two players who have started in every single one of Inter’s matches.
One is goalkeeper Yann Sommer. The veteran former Bayern Munich shotstopper has kept his place as Inter’s Number One.
And then in attack, Thuram has always led the line.
The French international has started alongside either Lautaro Martinez or Mehdi Taremi. But he has always started.

But of course, Thuram cannot just start every match for the rest of the season.
Inter coach Simone Inzaghi will have to think about giving the former Borussia Monchengladbach striker the chance to catch his breath, at least here and there.
And the regular Champions League fixtures starting to clog up the fixture list are an opportunity for Inzaghi to do just that.
Inter host Red Star Belgrade in their second European match of the campaign tomorrow.
And according to Tuttosport, Thuram will drop out of the starting eleven for the first time this season in tomorrow’s match.
Captain Lautaro Martinez will partner summer signing Mehdi Taremi for the first time from the start this season.
