Federico Dimarco and Matteo Darmian will start on the flanks for Inter Milan in tomorrow’s Serie A clash with Torino.
This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews. They report that Inter coach Simone Inzaghi is ready to significantly rotate the team again.
Tomorrow evening, Inter face their final Serie A match before the October international break.
The Nerazzurri host Torino at the San Siro.
The Granata are never an easy opponent, with their physical style of play and emphasis on disrupting the opposition’s rhythm making it very difficult for even Serie A’s best teams to play.
Last weekend, Torino lost their first league match of the season. They fell to defeat against Lazio in a 3-2 thriller.
However, Paolo Vanoli’s team still sit on an impressive eleven points. That is the same record as Inter at this stage of the campaign.
Dimarco & Darmian To Start For Inter Vs Torino
Inter only just played a couple of days ago. They were in action in the Champions League against Red Star Belgrade on Tuesday.
But this density of fixtures is part of life for the Nerazzurri.
And Inter coach Simone Inzaghi is ready to stick to a policy of squad rotation to avoid fatigue from his players.
Inzaghi had made seven changes to the team between matches against Udinese and Red Star. And he will once again make changes for tomorrow’s match.
In attack, Lautaro Martinez and Marcus Thuram will take the place of Marko Arnautovic and Mehdi Taremi, reports the Gazzetta.
And in midfield, Davide Frattesi should be back in the starting eleven. Nicolo Barella is still out with a thigh injury.
Then, on the flanks, Inzaghi will make two notable changes.
Carlos Augusto and Denzel Dumfries had started at left- and right-wingback respectively against Red Star.
However, Italian internationals Dimarco and Darmian will take their places in the lineup tomorrow.
The Gazzetta’s complete predicted Inter starting eleven for tomorrow is as follows:
Inter (3-5-2): Sommer; Pavard, Acerbi, Bastoni; Darmian, Frattesi, Calhanoglu, Mkhitaryan, Dimarco; Thuram, Lautaro.
