Inter Milan wingback Federico Dimarco played a starring role for Italy against Belgium in the Nations League.

The 27-year-old assisted the Azzurri’s first goal. Then, it was his switch of play that set up the second.

Italy were not able to hold on for the win after going down to ten men with a red card to Lorenzo Pellegrini.

However, the Azzurri showed their spirit and determination. They were able to get a point out of the match despite being at a numerical disadvantage for over half of it.

Federico Dimarco took to Instagram with snapshots from the match.

He captioned the post, “Too bad about the result, we wanted to win. But we’re on the right track. We played together and suffered together.”
