Inter Milan up-and-comer Yann Bisseck is reportedly one step away from penning a new long-term contract at Giuseppe Meazza.

According to Tuttosport, as reported by FCInterNews, the 23-year-old is ready to put pen to paper on a new deal.

The official announcement could arrive soon, with Inter set to tie their highly-rated youngster down to 2029.

Bisseck arrived at Meazza from Danish outfit Aarhus in the summer of 2023, immediately inking a five-year deal.

Simone Inzaghi’s side forked out around €7 million to capture his signature.

Little did they know how quickly he would become a hot prospect in the market.

However, after his skills caught the attention of several European powerhouses, Inter have had to act quickly.

Indeed, the reigning Scudetto holders will hand the ex-Germany U-21 international a short-term extension.

It’s still uncertain whether the new agreement would include a release clause.

Given the growing interest in Bisseck, that’s not far-fetched.

Inter Milan One Step Away From Tying Yann Bisseck Down To New Long-Term Contract

Bisseck couldn’t have imagined a batter first season in Serie A.

He was part of Inzaghi’s squad that won the club’s landmark 20th Scudetto.

Despite mostly playing second fiddle to Benjamin Pavard, the German showcased glimpses of his potential.

It seems like Inzaghi is ready to hand him a more prominent role this season.

After coming on as a late substitute against Venezia last weekend, Bisseck will likely start tonight’s game against Arsenal.

No stranger to high-stakes UEFA Champions League clashes, he was Inzaghi’s first choice at Manchester City in round one.

Therefore, the Nerazzurri boss seemingly has confidence in Bisseck’s abilities to handle the pressure.

Tonight’s game will be another massive opportunity for the young gun to prove his worth to the Meazza hierarchy.

Bisseck will line up alongside Stefan de Vrij and Pavard at the back, with Alessandro Bastoni and Francesco Acerbi set to stay on the bench.
