Inter Milan have already decided against keeping Marko Arnautovic and Joaquin Correa beyond the current campaign.

The Nerazzurri will be looking to add one or two fresh names to their ranks next season to revamp their attack.

So according to La Gazzetta dello Sport via FcInterNews, the writing is on the wall for the Austrian and Argentine strikers.

As the newspaper notes, Inter’s attacking department has been far from perfect this season.

While Marcus Thuram has been leading the scoring charts, Lautaro Martinez has been a long way off his remarkable numbers from last season.

The Nerazzurri were expecting a big impact from new signing Mehdi Taremi, especially following an impressive pre-season. However, the Iranian has only contributed with a goal and three assists in all competitions.

Finally, Arnautovic and Correa have been at the bottom of the pecking order. The Italian champions were hoping to offload both of them in the summer, but failed on both fronts.

Nevertheless, their respective contracts will expire at the end of the season, so their departures are seemingly inevitable.

Inter Milan Will Part Ways With Marko Arnautovic & Joaquin Correa This Summer

This season, Arnautovic has earned 125 minutes in the Champions League, including two starts. The former West Ham man managed to find the back of the net in the 4-0 routing against Red Star Belgrade, which remains his solitary goal in the current campaign.

On the other hand, he missed a penalty kick against Young Boys while the result was still 0-0.

As for Correa, he made three appearances in Serie A, all coming off the bench.

The Argentine returned from a disappointing loan spell at Olympique Marseille. Therefore, his stocks were at an all-time low last summer when Inter were trying to offload him.
