Inter Milan are set to be the big winners at the Gran Gala Del Calcio Italiano awards this week, with Nicolo Barella, Federico Dimarco, and coach Simone Inzaghi amongst the prize winners.

As reported by FCInterNews.it, the annual ceremony to celebrate Italian football will be held on Monday but a list of winners and nominees has now been released, and Inter feature prominently.

Wingback Dimarco is set to claim the Serie A Best Defender Award, whilst teammate and fellow Italy international Barella is in line for the Serie A Best Midfielder Award.

Dimarco, meanwhile, will share the prize for the Goal of the Year with Michael Folorunshu after his strike against Frosinone in November 2023, with the Hellas Verona man’s effort coming against Juventus in February.

Inzaghi is also set to be a joint-winner as he shares the Coach of the Year Award with Atalanta tactician Gian Piero Gasperini, whilst defender Matteo Darmian is named in the all-Italian Serie A team of the year.
