Inter Milan defender Yann Bisseck is confident that he can force his way into the reckoning to make his debut for the Germany national team.

According to German television station Sky Sport Deutchland, and as reported by FCInterNews.it, the 23-year-old has caught the eye of national team coach Julian Nagelsmann after a string of stellar performances in recent weeks.

Bisseck has particularly impressed in the Champions League, having marshalled Arsenal stars Bukayo Saka and Kai Havertz out of the game in a 1-0 win over the Premier League club earlier this month.

The former FC Koln defender currently captain’s Germany’s Under-21s but is ready to make the step up and force his way into the full squad.

Meanwhile, the German Football Federation are wary of losing out on the Inter man to Cameroon, with Bisseck’s parents hailing from the West African country.

It is thought that with former Inter star Samuel Eto’o at the head of Cameroon’s footballing body, there is a risk that Bisseck could be convinced to opt for them instead of Germany.
