Inter Milan remain keen to secure Bayer Leverkusen defender Jonathan Tah in the summer but their pursuit facing some key obstacles.
As reported in today’s newspaper edition of Corriere dello Sport, and via FCINter1908.it, the Nerazzurri have identified the Germany international as a target, particularly as he has made clear his desire to leave Leverkusen at the end of his contract in June.
However, Inter may well be hampered by the significant wage demands and agent fees that would be expected in order to facilitate the move.
Secondly, Inter are by no means the only interested party in Tah and are expected to face fierce competition from Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern Munich, and clubs in the Premier League.
Domestically, they are also likely to need to hold off competition from Juventus, who may look to move early in order to replace long-term injured duo Gleison Bremer and Juan Cabal.
Should Tah not be attainable, Inter may instead turn their attention to Union Berlin’s €15 million-rated Danilho Doekhi.
