Inter Milan defender Francesco Acerbi and midfielder Davide Frattesi are set to return to training ahead of Sunday’s Serie A clash with Fiorentina.
This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia. They report that the pair are likely to be back for tomorrow’s training session.
Inter were missing a couple players in Tuesday’s Champions League win over RB Leipzig.
One was defender Acerbi. The 36-year-old had sustained a thigh knock during the Nerazzurri’s Serie A win over Hellas Verona last weekend.
Then, midfielder Frattesi also pulled out of the squad. The former Sassuolo midfielder had suffered a slight knee problem in training ahead of the match.
