Inter Milan striker Marcus Thuram says that the Nerazzurri worked on their set piece routine in training for his goal against Parma.
The France international gave his thoughts to InterTV, via FCInterNews, after the 3-1 Serie A victory.
Thuram got himself on the scoresheet for the tenth time in Serie A this evening against Parma.
The Frenchman sealed Inter’s victory against the Gialloblu by scoring their third goal.
And interestingly, this was the first time that Thuram has scored just once in a match.
Prior to this evening, all of the 27-year-old’s goals in Serie A have either come in braces or hattricks.
But this time around, it was a quick and opportunistic strike from Thuram.
The former Borussia Monchengladbach striker reacted very well as the corner came into the box, And when he met it, his shot had the requisite technique to turn it past Parma keeper Zion Suzuki.
Thuram showed a real poacher’s instinct to latch onto the cross.
But as the Frenchman reveals, that is partly the result of patience and practice on the training ground.

“When we approach matches like this at home, the fans help us to keep the pace high all through the match.”
