Inter Milan experienced their first big setback in the Champions League this season against Bayer Leverkusen.
The Nerazzurri nearly held on for what would have been a valuable point against the German champions.
However, Leverkusen defender Nordi Mukiele netted a late winner. This was the first goal that Inter have conceded all season in Europe.
Inter are still in a strong position to qualify for the round of sixteen. However, it was still a big blow to their momentum.
Inter goalkeeper Yann Sommer took to Instagram to react. He posted: “Heads up and on to the next one.”
