Serie A heavyweights Inter Milan are inching ever closer to securing the services of Dinamo Zagreb prodigy Petar Sucic.

According to Tuttosport via FCInterNews, all three parties are eager to get the deal over the line on short notice.

Sucic has emerged as one of Inter’s top January transfer targets despite his recent injury problems.

However, Simone Inzaghi’s men will likely leave the 21-year-old in his homeland on loan until the end of the season.

Indeed, Inter believe it’s in the player’s best interest to stay at Maksimir for five more months.

Yet, first, they must find common ground with Dinamo.

Negotiations between the clubs are in advanced stages.

Dinamo’s demands are always the same. Indeed, they want €15 million for their jewel, plus a percentage on future resale.

Meanwhile, Inter hope to close the deal on slightly different terms.

Indeed, they’d ideally fork out €12m up front and bridge the gap with €3m in add-ons.

There’s still a minor disagreement regarding the payment.

However, with parties continuing talks in good faith, there’s a feeling Sucic will soon sign the papers at Meazza.

In fact, he could be in Milan in the next few days to pen a contract.
