Inter Milan midfield stalwart Henrikh Mkhitaryan turns 36 today, but it still feels like he’s at his peak powers.

Despite entering the autumn of his career, the ex-Manchester United and Roma star is crucial to Simone Inzaghi’s system.

Mkhitaryan helped Inter to a landmark 20th Scudetto last term.

However, he has refused to rest on his laurels and looks eager to lead by example this season.

One of Inzaghi’s most trusted allies, Mkhitaryan, has been the beating heart of Inter’s midfield.

As he turned 36, Inter took to X to send their wishes, writing: “Happy birthday, Henrikh.”
