This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews. They also anticipate that La Viola could play a 4-4-2 formation that effectively has four fullbacks.

Fiorentina host Inter Milan in Serie A this evening.

The two teams had already kicked off a league match at the Stadio Artemio Franchi in December.

However, that match had to be postponed. The two teams decided to temporarily abandon the fixture following a medical emergency for midfielder Edoardo Bove.

Fiorentina coach Raffaele Palladino cannot select any players who weren’t registered at the time of that match.

Therefore, January signings Nicolo Fagioli, Nicolo Zaniolo, Michael Folorunsho, Pablo Mari, and Cher Ndour will all be unavailable.

The newspaper anticipate that AC Milan-owned midfielder Yacine Adli will not be ready for the match.
